Job summary

Martek Global Services is seeking a Senior Facilities Management Specialist to support the DoW HPC modernization program at the ERDC DSRC located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. This on-site role provides technical oversight of mission-critical facilities infrastructure for HPC environments and collaborates with government leadership, engineering teams, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance (Top Secret preferred) or ability to obtain one.
• Education requirements range from High School Diploma with extensive experience to Ph.D. in a related field.
• EPA Universal Certification and Electrical or Mechanical trade certification are required.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities, data centers, or high-availability environments.
• Experience with construction, facility modernization, or infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/chilled water systems, electrical distribution, BAS, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HPC or DoW mission-critical environments and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for mission-critical HPC and data center infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.
• Oversee maintenance, operation, and repair of HVAC, chilled water, power distribution, and BAS systems.
• Review mechanical/electrical drawings, submittals, and engineering documentation for projects.
• Provide technical guidance to improve facility reliability, redundancy, and performance.
• Support large-scale data center upgrades and expansion projects.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control issues.
• Coordinate vendor performance, contracts, and service delivery.
