Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect focused on HPC to work with customers on cloud-based, scalable HPC solutions across CAE, Weather, AI/ML, and GPU-accelerated workloads.

As a trusted advocate, you will design architectures, guide migrations to AWS, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive adoption of HPC services. Strong communication to executives and deep technical breadth are required.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deep HPC experience for workloads in domains such as CAE, Weather Simulation, oil and gas, automotive/aerospace, financial services or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience in architecting an HPC system and infrastructure with orchestration schedulers like Slurm, Torque, Symphony or GridServer and parallel file systems like Lustre.

Responsibilities

• Design HPC solutions that leverage AWS Services for customers.
• Engage with other AWS teams to define an HPC Engagement strategy for key accounts, including public sector and AI/ML workloads.
• Provide thought leadership through external publications and internal training to AWS staff and partners.
