Job summary

AWS is seeking a HPC Specialist Architect for the Energy & Utilities Business Unit to help customers design solutions using AWS HPC services. You will work with customers across geographies to enable large-scale use cases and drive adoption of HPC on AWS.

You will collaborate with other Solutions Architects, develop white papers and reference implementations, and create field enablement materials for the AWS architect population. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/maths or equivalent.
• Experience with HPC frameworks for domains like oil & gas, automotive, finance or pharma; languages C++, Python, CUDA or Bash.
• Experience architecting HPC platforms with scheduling middleware and multi-user deployment.
• Understanding of infrastructure to run HPC services and AWS proficiency within 6 months.
• Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences and map user requirements to solutions.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to implement and deploy state-of-the-art HPC solutions.
• Evangelize AWS HPC services and share best practices via blogs, papers, references, and events.
• Create field enablement materials for AWS SA population to integrate HPC solutions.
• Act as liaison between customers and AWS product teams for feedback and improvements.
• Travel up to 25% as discussed at interview.
