The role requires deep hands‑on HPC experience, leadership, and collaboration with R&D stakeholders to enable scalable research workloads. Experience with containerization, automation, and DevOps is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in CS/IT or related field with required years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical architect for AbbVie IR’s HPC environments.
• Architect and evolve HPC compute, networking and storage.
• Administer and optimize Slurm workloads and GPU scheduling.
• Establish secure, reproducible container environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, and monitoring.
• Lead design reviews, vendor engagements, and governance.
• Collaborate with R&D for research workloads.
