Qualifications

• MS with 14+ years or PhD with 8+ years in machine learning, CS, applied math, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data platforms.
• Graduate degree in computer science, data science, computational biology, or related field.
• Strong skills in data modeling, integration, storage, pipelines, and AI/ML integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture for a scalable, cloud-native data platform for AI/ML in discovery.
• Design data models and integration patterns across multiple lab datasets.
• Partner with wet lab scientists and automation engineers to maximize data value.
• Ensure data pipelines support model development and production deployment.
• Advance FAIR data practices and data stewardship in line with strategic priorities.
• Promote data-as-a-product and cloud-first architecture across the organization.
• Collaborate with governance to implement data policies effectively.
• Align data infrastructure with broader AbbVie initiatives like Convergence and ARCH.
• Communicate impact with stories, metrics, and KPIs for therapeutic programs.
