Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an HPC Applications & Performance Engineer to lead benchmarking for HPC/AI opportunities onsite in the United States. You will collaborate with product engineering, management, and marketing to influence current and future capabilities, evaluate new technologies, and produce actionable performance reports for customer success.

Required are 7+ years in HPC performance tuning, deep knowledge of HPC/AI workloads, and superb analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Degree in computer science, engineering, math or equivalent.
7+ years experience with high-end HPC systems and performance tuning of scalable HPC apps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and spoken English; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Provide pre- and post-sales technical and benchmarking support for HPC/AI opportunities.
Collaborate with product engineering, management, and marketing to influence product capabilities and direction.
Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their impact on performance and differentiation.
Develop and maintain knowledge of HPC/AI products and optimization techniques to deliver high-quality benchmarks.
Lead application-focused performance studies and publish technical reports with findings and recommendations.
