Job summary

DMK Development Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for a senior housing project in Muskegon, Michigan. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage schedules, and maintain progress records while coordinating with the Project Manager and stakeholders.

The role requires at least 2+ years of project leadership, strong safety values, and proficiency in reading plans. Procore experience and MS Office skills are preferred for effective communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading construction projects, Healthcare and Multi Family experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Comfort and familiarity with iPad usage with Procore is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on project from start to closeout.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the project site.
• Assist in creating and maintaining schedules for the project.
• Keep updated records of progress through daily field status reports.
• Foster positive relationships with team members, subcontractors, owners, and city officials.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and support team to complete all aspects of the project.
• Perform quality control reviews of materials received on the project as well as work performed.
