Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and California Bar admission.
• Minimum seven years of legal practice.
• Four years of results in litigation including class actions and appeals.
• Expertise in disability rights law and related statutes.
• Excellent advocacy, writing, research, and oral skills.
• Ability to lead multiple advocacy projects and collaborate.
• Commitment to working with people with disabilities and diverse communities.
• Experience in two or more of admin proceedings, discovery, motions, class actions, trial, or appellate practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and participate in litigation independently under supervision.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and proceedings.
• Supervise attorneys, advocates, fellows, clerks, and interns.
• Prepare training materials, publications, and presentations.
• Provide technical assistance and staff training.
• Collaborate with agencies to address housing and disability service issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
