Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED with 1-3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in subsidized housing or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and validate Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) documentation; determine eligibility; calculate rents accurately for current and prospective clients.
• Conduct quality control reviews of rent calculations; respond to inquiries; resolve issues; escalate as needed.
• Lead rent calculation processes; maintain workflow documentation and reports; keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with program staff, landlords, and stakeholders; maintain compliant client files; follow laws and policies.
• Support onboarding and professional development; train new Housing Specialists to align with processes.
• Engage in ongoing learning and performance feedback to improve metrics and team success.
