Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for LSS Affordable Senior Housing at Chadwick Place I, II & III in Marion, OH. This full-time, day shift role supports maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and facility systems to ensure safe, comfortable homes for residents.

With 3–5 years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED, you will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and assist with turnovers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable insured transportation.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and facility systems.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, flooring and custodial tasks as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep equipment rooms clean and organized.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inventories, work orders and inspections.
