Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville, IN is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support the campus with maintenance, repairs, and painting tasks. The role involves partnering with the Director of Maintenance to ensure safety, compliance, and quality work across facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Trade School certificate (Electrical or HVAC), 5 years of maintenance experience (preferably in a nursing home), and strong knowledge of Life Safety and Building Codes.

Formación

• Ability to interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and building specs
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration and HVAC
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsabilidades

• Maintain Life Safety and Building Code compliance; keep accurate records
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance tasks
• Coordinate with DMES and inspectors during tours and inspections
• Schedule and document preventive maintenance and testing activities
• Operate and transport residents as needed and ensure vehicle safety
