Job summary

National Church Residences is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for First Community Village Senior Living Campus in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on general building maintenance, preventive care, and minor repairs across resident units and common areas.

The technician will diagnose issues, perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, schedule preventive maintenance, and assist with outside contractors. On-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two to five years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Good mechanical and problem-solving abilities, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident units and common areas, including carpentry and painting.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Operate and maintain security systems and alarms where applicable.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in, including painting and cleaning.
• Assist outside vendors and coordinate third-party work as needed.
• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance as required.
• Adhere to on-call duties and maintain maintenance logs.
