Job summary

OneCanopi is seeking a Sr. Operations Compliance Asset Manager to support regulatory compliance, operational performance, and continuous improvement of the affordable housing portfolio.

The role collaborates with the Senior Director of Property Management to coordinate operations, monitor performance, and ensure data integrity across HUD, LIHTC, and related programs. The position requires extensive affordable housing experience, with strong knowledge of HUD systems and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible property-management experience, preferably involving affordable or federally assisted housing.
• Demonstrated experience with HUD-assisted housing programs and HUD regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated working experience with HUD PIC/IMS-PIC or successor HUD reporting systems.
• Demonstrated experience with LIHTC compliance.
• Operational oversight, staff leadership, compliance monitoring, quality assurance, or portfolio-level support.
• Experience with RAD, PBV, public housing, mixed-finance, or layered affordable-housing properties is highly desirable.
• Driver’s license and proof of liability insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property-management operations across the portfolio and monitor performance.
• Coordinate HUD reporting, PIC data accuracy, and compliance findings.
• Develop corrective action plans for underperforming properties.
• Provide staff coaching and training on HUD LIHTC requirements.
• Assist with special projects and portfolio initiatives.
