Job summary

Valley View Village is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping and laundry teams in a senior living setting. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of housekeeping experience in healthcare, strong mentoring skills, and the ability to work a consistent schedule including every other weekend from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at our Des Moines location.

Qualifications

• 3 years of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff.
• Desire to create a clean, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervision over housekeepers and laundry aides.
• Order inventories linens, supplies and chemicals for facility cleaning.
• Keep inventory logs and report ordering needs.
• Assigns and schedules staff during call-ins and absences.
• Assist in cleaning resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms and dining rooms.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
