Yona Solutions is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to plan, organize, and direct housekeeping and laundry in a skilled nursing facility. You will coordinate staff, ensure sanitary, safe surroundings, and compliance with regulations, while maintaining resident- and staff-focused service.

The role requires overseeing staff performance, managing supplies, and participating in facility meetings to support quality resident care. Strong supervision and healthcare housekeeping experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Proficient in Windows based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises functions and activities of the departments.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Forecasts and plans the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Maintains department records and prepares reports.
