Qualifications

• Two years experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.

• Public speaking skills.
• Proficient in Windows-based Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work by staff.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive and orderly environment.
• Forecasts and plans purchasing of supplies and equipment.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, and personnel records.
• Coordinates with other departments to optimize housekeeping activities.
• Maintains survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and department cost control.
