Job summary

Asher Adams, An Autograph Collection Hotel in Salt Lake City seeks an experienced Engineer III to join our engineering team. The role focuses on advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care for hotel facilities, guest rooms, and mechanical systems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building services.

The ideal candidate brings strong cross-trade skills, can read technical docs and blueprints, and holds EPA/CFC certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hotel engineering, facilities maintenance, or commercial building maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Read, write and understand English; read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Universal EPA/CFC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on hotel mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment including pumps, motors, boilers, air conditioning systems, appliances, and related components.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems, switches, outlets, lighting, televisions, internet devices, and other operational equipment.
• Perform plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains, repairing fixtures, and basic copper and PVC pipe repairs.
• Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and finish-work repairs as needed.
• Maintain and repair landscaping irrigation systems and exterior property components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
