Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality, LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering/Maintenance Leader to oversee building maintenance and energy management across a Park Ridge, NJ property. The role requires ensuring guest-facing spaces stay functional and visually appealing while directing rehabilitation, expansion, and special projects.

Qualifications

• High school graduation and an apprenticeship or equivalent advanced training for operating engineers.
• Three years’ experience performing building maintenance in a hotel or related industry.
• One year’s experience as a head or Assistant Chief Engineer in the same or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures property condition is upheld to high standards and appealing to guests.
• Manages rehabilitation, expansion, and special projects for the property.
• Maintains energy management and preventative maintenance programs.
• Conducts training for other departments on safe and efficient use of equipment and energy.
• Manages routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of house spaces and grounds.
• Assigns and verifies completion of repairs and renovations in guest areas and work spaces.

Education

High school graduation and apprenticeship/advanced training

Three years’ hotel maintenance experience

Head or Assistant Chief Engineer experience
