White Lodging is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead all engineering and maintenance operations at the Sheraton Raleigh, a premier downtown hotel in North Carolina. You will oversee a large-scale property, manage a skilled maintenance team, and ensure reliable systems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical disciplines.

The role requires senior hotel engineering experience, strong leadership, and a focus on safety, budget stewardship, and guest comfort in a busy 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership as Chief Engineer or senior hotel maintenance professional.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong budget management and cost-control experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Marriott brand standards and energy management platforms.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel engineering operations across the Sheraton property.
• Build and lead a team of maintenance professionals.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure safety regulations and Marriott standards compliance.
• Manage department budget, capex and cost controls.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues.
• Partner with leadership on energy management and capital projects.
