Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee seeks an Engineer to maintain building systems and facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems, respond to maintenance requests, and uphold safety standards to support a premium guest experience.

Ideal candidates have facilities maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to energy efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous engineering, facilities maintenance, or building maintenance experience required; hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain interior and exterior of the hotel through preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of building systems, equipment, and furnishings.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest and associate maintenance requests, delivering exceptional service and minimizing operational disruptions.
Support cost-control initiatives by promoting energy and utility efficiency, including monitoring and maintaining heat, power, lighting, water, and sewer systems.
Uphold all OSHA, safety, and hotel standards while collaborating in meetings and proposing process improvements for guest and associate experience.
