Job summary

Hilton Richmond is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee all engineering operations and maintenance for the property, ensuring safety and full operational readiness. You will manage the engineering team, set PM schedules, and coordinate with vendors for major repairs.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in hotel/facility maintenance with strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• EPA, CPO, HVAC license or related certifications preferred.
• 4–6 years of hotel/facility maintenance experience; supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, PM programs, safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering operations, maintenance tasks, and building systems for the property.
• Lead engineering staff; provide training and performance feedback.
• Maintain and execute the preventive maintenance program (PM).
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for major repairs and service agreements.
