Versigent is seeking a Senior Hosting & Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable infrastructure across cloud and hybrid hosting environments. The role is hands-on, providing technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure, application, security, and project teams.

Key focus areas include Microsoft Azure, AWS, networking, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps practices. You will enable secure, cost-efficient, and reliable solutions while aligning with enterprise architecture

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing infrastructure, hosting, or cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure architecture and engineering experience.
• Strong AWS architecture and engineering experience.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security, hosting, and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation, migration, or modernization initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

YOUR ROLE

Versigent is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hosting & Cloud Solutions Architect to support the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions across cloud and hybrid hosting environments.

This is a hands-on architecture and engineering role focused on helping project teams design solutions aligned to established enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, operational best practices and FinOps best practices. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor to infrastructure, application, security, and project teams while providing deep expertise across Microsoft Azure, AWS, networking, hosting platforms, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solution Architecture & Delivery
  • Partner with project teams to design infrastructure and cloud solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and approved reference architectures.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into practical, supportable solution designs.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycle activities, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational transition.
  • Review architecture and design deliverables to ensure scalability, security, resiliency, and operational supportability.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams to ensure solution alignment and compliance.
• Cloud & Hosting Solutions
  • Design and support enterprise solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Architect and implement cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, and traditional hosting solutions.
  • Support cloud migrations, application modernization initiatives, and datacenter transformation efforts.
  • Design highly available and disaster-resilient infrastructure solutions.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, security, and cost across cloud environments.
• Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
  • Design solutions across:
    • Azure and AWS services
    • Windows and Linux platforms
    • VMware and virtualization technologies
    • Storage, backup, and disaster recovery platforms
    • Enterprise hosting and datacenter environments
  • Support infrastructure automation and platform engineering initiatives using Infrastructure-as-Code and modern deployment practices.
• Networking & Connectivity
  • Design and support:
    • Cloud networking
    • WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN environments
    • VPN and remote connectivity solutions
    • DNS, load balancing, and network security services
    • Hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments
• Security & DevSecOps
  • Ensure all solutions align with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
  • Integrate security controls into infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Support Zero Trust, identity, access management, vulnerability management, and cloud security initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address risks and remediation requirements.
• Automation & Operational Excellence
  • Promote Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and DevOps best practices.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment automation.
  • Contribute to standards for monitoring, logging, observability, backup, recovery, and operational readiness.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
