Octagon in Stamford, CT is seeking a Senior Event Executive, Hospitality to lead planning and execution of elite event programs for a Home Improvement client. This role supports multiple projects nationwide, coordinating logistics, vendors, décor, gifting and on-site production.

You’ll manage budgets, timelines and client relations, develop premium hospitality experiences, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver flawless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in events or hospitality
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects on strict timelines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of event logistics across hospitality programs
• Develop and implement creative hospitality experiences and premium touchpoints
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee budgets, timelines, and execution
• Support decor concepts and floor plans with client branding integration
• Own gifting execution from concept to fulfillment
• Maintain asset management for signage, collateral, and branded décor
• Support budget creation, reconciliation, and recap
• Participate in weekly status calls with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead food & beverage operations planning and coordination with venues
• Prepare status updates and staff documents
• Assist with event results reporting and wrap-up
• Oversee contracts, COIs, POs, vendor payments and documentation
• General account management and client requests
