Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Program Manager, Security Services to lead daily operations of the Security Services Department at the regional hospital site and off-site locations. You will manage security systems, collaborate with law enforcement, and drive safety initiatives across NM properties.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare safety/security and strong leadership, with responsibility for budgeting and policy development in a complex, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of the IAHSS Basic exam within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of the IAHSS Advanced exam within 180 days of hire.
• Successful completion of the Supervisor exam within 270 days of hire.
• Maintain IAHSS Basic, Advanced and Supervisor certifications.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with a variety of individuals.
• Writing skills to complete reports and paperwork meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains all security operations and systems for the regional hospital and portfolio.
• Ensures safety and customer service for patients, visitors, physicians and employees.
• Responds to campus security breaches definitively and effectively.
• Oversees security incident response planning and breach investigations.
