Job summary
Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician IV level with hospital experience to prepare and distribute medications under a pharmacist's supervision. Responsibilities include labeling, Pyxis refills, IV admixtures, and medication delivery to patient areas.
The role requires a Registered Pharmacy Technician with NHA/PTCB certifications, and at least 4 years in hospital pharmacy settings, including sterile products and chemotherapy prep. EOE, disability/vets.
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacy Technician.
- NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
- Minimum 4 years hospital pharmacy technician experience (or equivalent).
- Experience with sterile products and chemotherapy preparation.
Responsibilities
- Fill and label medications and refilling Pyxis.
- Deliver medications to patient care areas.
- Prepare IV admixture solutions.
- Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Maintain medication stock levels and storage.
- Use information systems and automation for tasks.
