Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to prepare and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision. You will fill, label and deliver medications, refill Pyxis, and help with IV admixtures while maintaining stock and proper storage.

Proficiency with basic computer systems and automation is required, with pay range noted as $20.42–$26.55 per hour depending on experience. EOE.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent.
• Sterile products preparation or medication history or pediatrics experience; PTCB/ICPT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Fill and label medications, refill Pyxis, deliver meds to patient care areas.
• Prepare IV admixture solutions; answer calls and direct to staff as needed.
• Maintain medication stock levels and proper storage for safe, cost-effective services.
• Utilize basic computer skills and information systems to complete tasks.
