Qualifications

• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Minimum of three years retail/ambulatory experience preferred with meds to beds skill set.

Responsibilities

• Follow well-defined instructions to prepare and distribute medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Filling, refilling and labeling medications and delivering medications to patient care areas.
• Answering the telephone and directing calls to appropriate staff; accurate data entry and third-party adjudication.
• Purchasing and maintaining medication stock levels; proper storage of medications and inventory control.
• Mentoring and training of new employees, students, and volunteers.
• Register and point of sale and maintenance of policy and procedures.
