Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare and distribute medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role includes filling/ labeling, Pyxis refills, delivering medications, IV admixtures, and answering calls while maintaining stock and proper storage.

Minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy experience preferred; a PTCB or ExCPT certification is preferred and must be obtained within the year for sterile compounding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training certificates accepted.
• Licenses & Certifications: Registered Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Fills/labels medications, refills Pyxis, delivers medications to patient care areas.
• Maintains medication stock levels and proper storage; ensures safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical services.
• Uses basic computer systems and pharmacy information systems to complete tasks.
