Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Bedded Insurance Authorization Senior Specialist to manage initial and concurrent insurance authorizations for hospital patients, verify eligibility, document benefits, and ensure timely authorizations. You will review clinical data for medical necessity and help prevent denials.

Applicants should have 2 years of customer service with insurance/authorization experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience with insurance authorizations and CPT codes.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to think critically and communicate effectively.
• Comfort handling stressful situations and multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Confirm insurance is active and covers the patient's procedure.
• Verify eligibility and document benefits.
• Review and submit clinical data to support medical necessity.
• Obtain and maintain timely authorizations.
