Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Construction Licensed Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic in Seattle to lead refrigeration/HVAC installations and maintenance for hospital facilities. You will plan projects, review designs, estimate costs, and oversee budgets to ensure on-target expenditures.

With 10+ years in the field, you will guide less experienced staff and ensure systems are operational across medical center buildings. EPA 608 certification is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• HVAC basic certification from an accredited trade school.
• EPA Section 608 certification required upon hire.
• 10+ years in refrigeration/HVAC installation, servicing, and maintenance.
• Reading blueprints/diagrams in construction related to refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Install and service refrigeration and HVAC systems for hospital facilities.
• Plan projects, review designs, and estimate costs to meet budgets.
• Oversee project budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Direct the work of junior mechanics on projects as needed.
