Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; formal training beyond hs (technical school, apprenticeship, or college)
• Valid driver’s license and ongoing license maintenance
• State and federal background checks as required for regulated areas
• 3 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Begin prompt corrective action on deficiencies found during inspections.
• Use and interpret test equipment for building systems repair and maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain and repair nurse-call, alarm, and HVAC systems.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for lower-level technicians.
• Promote cost-saving improvements within Facilities Engineering.
