Candidates should have at least six months in healthcare cleaning, be able to lift heavy loads, and obtain IAMTAC within 30 days of hire. The position offers a full-time schedule and benefits in a hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Education: High School level or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum six months in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing, rehabilitation facility, or medical clinic preferred.
• Twelve months experience as a janitor in an office building or hotel housekeeping acceptable.
• IAMTAC certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to organize work tasks and complete them timely.
• Ability to handle workload and work cooperatively with all staff.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled cycle cleaning and non-scheduled projects per department policy.
• Operate heavy equipment like high-speed floor buffers, scrubbing machines, carpet extractors and vacuums.
• Strip and refinish hard surface floors; shampoo and extract carpeted surfaces.
• Spot clean carpets; clean stairways, exits, entrances and elevators.
• Use cleaning products and floor care chemicals safely; manage trash and biohazardous waste.
