Job summary

MarinGeneral Hospital dba MarinHealth Medical Center is seeking a dedicated environmental services associate to perform daily cleaning in patient care and public areas. You will execute cycle and terminal cleaning tasks following hospital policies to uphold sanitation standards across MarinHealth facilities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6+ months in healthcare or related settings, and IAMTAC certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School level or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of six months experience in an acute care hospital, a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility, or a medical clinic is preferred.
• Twelve months experience as a janitor in an office building or commercial complex or as a hotel housekeeper is acceptable.
• Integrative Agitation Management (IAMTAC) required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; organize work tasks; cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop floors using chemically treated dust cloths or cloth dust mops.
• Wet mop floors using hospital approved disinfectants or appropriate floor care products.
• Vacuum carpets in assigned work areas.
• Spot clean walls and surfaces as needed.
• Prepare and maintain cleaning tools and supplies; restock paper products daily.
