Job summary

MarinHealth is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Aide to perform daily cleaning in public areas, patient care spaces, and support areas across the hospital. You will follow established cleaning protocols, use hospital-grade disinfectants, and assist with stocking and waste management, ensuring a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

This full-time role includes evening shifts (8 hours) and a 40-hour workweek. Training on IAMTAC within 30 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• IAMTAC certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to organize work tasks and complete them timely.
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop floors and dust surfaces.
• Wet mop floors with hospital-grade disinfectants.
• Vacuum carpets in assigned areas and spot-clean as needed.
• Restock paper products and supplies daily.
• Move and reposition beds and furniture as required.
• Dispose of waste according to infection control procedures.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control policies.
