About The Role

The Epic Resolute Professional Billing Senior Analyst functions as the primary support contact and expert for the Epic Resolute application. Works under the direction of the Supervisor/Manager to configure, build, and install the application. The Epic Resolute Billing Analyst coordinates all issues that arise during the application build phase. Key activities include analyzing workflows, understanding policies and procedures, and documenting operational specifications and application functionality. Responsibilities also include analyzing new releases, database configuration, system testing, data validation, developing procedures, and training end users. The analyst acts as a troubleshooting contact during training, go-live, and stabilization periods.

Responsibilities

  • Thorough knowledge of inpatient/outpatient revenue cycle environment and hospital operations.
  • Solid understanding of revenue cycle workflows and clinical process integration.
  • Document, communicate, and assist in problem resolution.
  • Support hospital systems including testing, training, and implementation.
  • Maintain detailed project plans.
  • Interact with operational leadership, end users, vendors, and related areas to gather requirements.
  • Assist in software/hardware installation and coordinate with IS&T departments.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a health-related discipline, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Alternatively, three years of experience in information systems, preferably in a patient care environment.
  • Prior Epic experience in Resolute, Prelude, Grand Central, or Cadence is highly desirable.
  • Must complete certification on an Epic application within 6 months of training.
  • Ability to manage project work plans, demonstrate interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Compensation

The salary range is $88,646 - $127,834, based on experience and qualifications, in accordance with New Jersey law.
