Job summary

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to partner with the Chief Clinical Officer in guiding hospice operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving program development.

The ideal candidate holds a WA RN license (BSN), an advanced degree, and 2+ years of management in hospice or home health, with strong leadership, communication, and quality-improvement skills. This is a full-time exempt role in Richland, WA.

Qualifications

• WA State RN license (Current)
• BSN from an accredited nursing program
• MSN, MHA, or MBA or four years of management/supervisory experience and four years clinical
• Minimum two years clinical hospice/home health experience with two years in management
• Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing certification within 3 years of employment
• Experience in program development, coordination, and management
• Access to transportation, WA driver's license and auto insurance
• Strong leadership, organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency with computer applications and EHRs
• Knowledge of hospice care concepts and philosophies
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families in routine and crisis situations
• Ability to develop and deliver group presentations
• Knowledge of quality improvement in clinical settings
• Experience in oncology/home health/hospice (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate hospice patient care services
• Collaborate with Chief Clinical Officer on strategic objectives and growth
• Develop and implement clinical programs and quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in outreach and administration of hospice operations
• Present to groups and stakeholders as needed
• Ensure compliance with licensing, policies, and standards
