Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Field Adjuster, Homeowner Claims for a Philadelphia area role with remote work options.

This position involves in-field and virtual loss investigations, repair scope determination, and bid preparation using Xactimate, with travel to sites as needed. The ideal candidate has extensive homeowner claims experience, a valid driver’s license, and a background in adjusting complex property losses, aiming to advance to Level 5 Homeowner Adjuster.

Qualifications

• 6+ years related professional experience with transferrable skills.
• 4+ years claims experience with homeowner emphasis.
• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher may be in lieu of 2 years experience.
• Knowledge of Xactimate repair estimating system.
• Knowledge of homeowner policies and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate property loss claims of moderate-high severity in field or virtually.
• Contact insured to photograph and inspect damaged dwellings, structures and personal property.
• Determine scope of repairs and prepare a repair bid using Xactimate.
• Negotiate agreed cost of repair with insured or contractors and progress to completion.
• Settle and pay dwelling damages after coverage analysis; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Travel as needed and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive culture.
