Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Sr. Field Adjuster, Homeowner Claims for the San Jose area. This remote-first role requires local travel and the ability to inspect damaged properties, estimate repairs with Xactimate, and settle claims.

You will handle moderate to high severity homeowner claims, coordinating with insureds and contractors, and advancing to higher competency levels as needed. A valid driver's license and strong knowledge of homeowner policies are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years related professional experience with transferrable skills.
• 4+ years claims experience with preferred emphasis on homeowner claims.
• High school diploma required. Related bachelor’s degree or higher may be in lieu of 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate property loss claims of moderate-high severity in field and virtual settings.
• Photograph and inspect damaged dwellings and personal property with insured.
• Prepare repair bids using Xactimate and determine repair costs with insured/contractors.
• Settle and pay dwelling or other structure damages after coverage analysis.
