Job summary

Citi Bank Retail Mortgage provides home lending services through branch networks and centralized centers. The Home Lending Officer originates high-quality residential real estate loans and engages with real estate agents and referral sources to grow mortgage business.

The role requires 5–8 years of residential mortgage experience, strong customer service and sales skills, and the ability to explain financing options clearly.

Qualifications

• Residential Mortgage experience is required.
• Strong sales capability and client relationship skills.
• Ability to explain financing options clearly to clients.
• Knowledge of lending laws, privacy, and RESPA.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about financial goals and lending needs to achieve home ownership.
• Collect/analyze customer financial information and assess loan eligibility.
• Recommend lending solutions that fit customer objectives.
• Promote Citi's lending services to real estate agents and referral sources.
• Coordinate with Operations, Processors, and Underwriters to close loans.
