Job summary

Nada seeks a Senior Specialist in Dallas to own the default journey end‑to‑end, including monitoring, workouts, and recoveries for home equity assets. You will coordinate with counsel, subservicers, and title partners to manage delinquencies, liens, and settlement paths.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in mortgage servicing, foreclosure or bankruptcy, with strong written communication and process‑design skills. This is an on‑site role at Nada’s Dallas HQ.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in mortgage, consumer lending, or shared-equity servicing, with meaningful time in default, collections, loss mitigation, or foreclosure.
• Direct experience managing foreclosure and bankruptcy files alongside outside counsel.
• Working knowledge of FDCPA and applicable state default and foreclosure requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to design a process from scratch and document it well enough that someone else can run it.
• Comfort with lien position, title, and recorded instruments — read a title report and know what it means for the investment.
• Strong written communication. Explain difficult situations clearly to homeowners, lawyers, or investors.
• Comfort working in spreadsheets — lookups, filtering, reconciling data between two sources.

Responsibilities

• Own default monitoring end to end — lien alerts, subservicer reporting, and time-to-detection targets.
• Lead outbound contact with distressed homeowners, designing workable workouts and settlements.
• Manage bankruptcy files with counsel and track foreclosure sale process and recovery options.
• Report performance to leadership, investors, and partners; build repeatable controls and playbooks.
• Cross-train on core servicing to provide coverage when needed and mentor junior staff.
