Job summary

Senior Helpers of the Bluegrass is hiring a Home Care Caregiver in Lexington. The role offers $16-$18 per hour with full-time or part-time schedules, plus PTO, 401(k), and paid overtime/holidays.

Full-time staff may receive medical, dental, vision, and term life benefits. Primary duties include companionship, light housekeeping, transfers, meal prep, and transportation support to help clients stay independent at home.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.
• Appropriate license or designation to provide Personal Care services.
• Pass Satisfactory Employment Background Screenings and Drug Screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Light housekeeping and household management.
• Assist with client transfers and mobility around the home.
• Assist with meals, errands, transportation, and shopping.
• Medication reminders and monitoring changes in condition.
• Document activities and report to the care team.
