Senior Helpers of the Bluegrass in Lexington, KY is hiring an In-Home Caregiver for 4pm–9:30pm, Mon–Fri. You will provide personalized non-medical care, helping clients stay safe, independent, and engaged in their home environment. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay of $16–$18 per hour, paid training, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping others.
• Enjoy customer service and effective communication with clients.
• Desire to make a positive difference in the community and someone's life.
• At least 20 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Us Citizenship or Valid Work Authorization
• Proof of TB test
• Driver's License
• Valid Car Insurance
• Ability to pass Drug Screening

Responsibilities

• Engage in enjoyable conversations to build relationships with clients by working with them one-on-one.
• Participate in clients' favorite activities and hobbies.
• Run local errands for clients.
• Prepare and serve meals for clients.
• Assist clients with daily activities such as walking, dressing, toileting, showering, etc.
• Provide transportation for clients to their appointments.
• Maintain detailed records of completed activities and provide updates on clients' physical condition and behavior
