Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Epic Bridges and InterSystems Ensemble HL7. You will acquire and define interface requirements and help support and implement interfaces that enable seamless data exchange across clinical systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates for the Sr level will have 7–10 years of healthcare interface development and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED not sufficient for Sr position; requires relevant healthcare IT experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7–10 years of healthcare interface development and support preferred; Epic Bridges certification or proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and define requirements for HL7 interfaces using Epic Bridges and Ensemble (InterSystems IRIS for Health).
Assist with development, planning, and installation of projects.
Collaborate with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to translate interface requirements into specifications.
Monitor interface operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
Lead interface projects including planning, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
Ensure HIPAA compliance and data security policies.
Maintain documentation for all interfaces, including specs, test plans, and change logs.
