Job summary

GAP SOLUTIONS INC is seeking an experienced professional to support the NHLBI HIV/AIDS Program at NIH. You will coordinate scientific initiatives, manage data and reports, and collaborate with leadership and partners to advance program goals from Bethesda, MD.

The role requires a Master’s degree and a minimum of ten years NIH program management experience, with strong portfolio analysis and experience coordinating PA/RFA/RFP processes. Day shifts in a federal setting are standard.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health or science-related discipline is required.
• Minimum of ten years NIH scientific program management experience is required.
• Experience conducting quantitative and/or qualitative portfolio analysis in support of scientific program management is required.
• Experience supporting NIH-wide HIV committees and working groups is required.
• Experience translating HIV research priorities into funding opportunity announcements, program announcements, requests for applications, or related funding mechanisms is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the scientific administration of the NHLBI HIV/AIDS Program.
• Coordinate and monitor scientific initiatives, meetings, reports, and activities.
• Assist with communication, collaboration, and dissemination of program information.
• Maintain program records, databases, spreadsheets, and web content.
• Assist in preparing analyses, presentations, and documentation for program leadership and partner organizations.
• Collaborate with staff on development and coordination of scientific initiatives, including Program Announcements (PAs), RFAs, and RFPs.
• Support coordination, implementation, and monitoring of scientific programs and activities.
