Precision Medicine Group in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Histotechnician to lead tissue processing and staining workflows, ensuring accuracy, safety and compliance across the histology lab.

Responsibilities include HE and special stain workups, IHC project coordination with scientists, SOP creation, staff training, data accessioning support and collaboration with external pathologists to ensure efficient, high‑quality results. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Biology with 5+ years of relevant histology experience.
• ASCP HT/HTL certification preferred.
• Experience with HE staining, IHC, and tissue processing.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare tissue sections for microscopic evaluation.
• Perform HE and special stains; coordinate IHC projects with scientists.
• Develop and follow SOPs; participate in validation plans.
• Train staff and interact with pathologists and external labs.
