- BA/BS in Biology and 5 years of related experience; ASCP HT/HTL certification preferred.
- Experience with histology processing, staining, and IHC workflows.
- Ability to develop and follow SOPs, QC plans, and reports.
Responsibilities
- Process tissue sections: accessioning, embedding, microtomy, staining, IHC.
- Prepare specimens for microscopic evaluation and quality control.
- Design and lead IHC projects with scientists and manage sample workflows.
- Interact with external pathologists and pathology service labs.
- Train staff and ensure compliance with OSHA, CAP, and HIPAA.
