Job summary

Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is seeking a His- technologist Sr to process surgical specimens, perform tissue fixation, processing, microtomy and staining for pathologic diagnosis. You will document quality control procedures and assist the Pathologist as needed.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved Histotechnology program and ASCP eligibility, with at least three years of histology lab experience. Day-one benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Histotechnology.
• ASCP eligibility or certification preferred/required.
• Three years of laboratory histology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tissue processing, microtomy, and staining for pathologic diagnosis.
• Maintains QC and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Supervises daily histology lab activities and quality indicators.
