Regeneron is seeking a Sr. Associate Scientist to join the Obesity, Metabolism and Muscle Diseases Group in Tarrytown, NY. You will lead end-to-end histology workflows across multiple programs, delivering high-quality data on time with advancing IHC/IF and ISH capabilities.

You will manage tissue processing, staining, imaging, and quantitative analysis, while coordinating with stakeholders to balance competing demands. Onsite work model applies.

Qualifikationen

• BS with 5+ years or MS with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in standard and special histochemical staining techniques across multiple tissue types.
• Demonstrated IHC/IF assay development, optimization, and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency with whole-slide imaging systems and digital pathology image analysis software (e.g., HALO).

Aufgaben

• Process tissue samples from multiple tissue types (e.g., liver, heart, brain, muscle, adipose).
• Perform routine and special histological staining according to program needs.
• Conduct IHC and IF, developing, optimizing, and validating new protocols, antibody titrations, and antigen retrieval conditions.
• Apply ISH/RNAscope techniques for gene expression localization where required.
• Perform image acquisition using various scanning platforms and manage image data repositories.
• Perform quantitative image analysis, developing and applying customized algorithms as needed.
• Generate high-quality figures and data summaries for internal reports, regulatory packages, and peer-reviewed publications.
• Maintain and communicate a dynamic workload tracker, proactively flagging capacity constraints or scheduling conflicts to stakeholders.
