Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Highway Transportation Engineer to lead the Highway Department within the Philadelphia Transportation Division. You will mentor staff, manage multidisciplinary projects with PennDOT District 6-0, the City of Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and support highway design efforts in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10–15 years experience in highway design.
• Professional Engineer license – PA.
• Experience leading highway design projects.
• Ability to coordinate with PennDOT District 6-0, City of Philadelphia and PA Turnpike Commission

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop staff.
• Manage multidisciplinary projects across agencies.
• Support highway design projects in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, cost and scope targets.
• Prepare supplements when scope/schedule changes.
• Prepare and execute project-specific quality management plans.
• Prepare progress reports and invoices as Project Manager.
• Develop Statements of Interest (SOI) and proposals for clients
