Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior transportation engineer to oversee highway programs from planning to delivery. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, quality, and client expectations while leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with FDOT, municipalities, and tolling agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 10+ years of highway/transportation engineering experience
• Experience managing large, multidisciplinary projects
• Strong FDOT project experience
• Knowledge of AASHTO, FDOT, and Municipal (Green Book) standards
• Expertise in roadway design, alignments, drainage, MOT, signing, pavement markings
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
• Tolling project experience
• Program management experience
• Experience coordinating ITS, signalization, lighting, utilities, and structures

Responsibilities

• Oversee major highway programs from planning through delivery, managing scope, budgets, schedules, quality, and client expectations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with FDOT, municipalities, and tolling agencies.
• Review technical solutions to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Manage project financial performance and support business development efforts.
• Maintain client relationships and participate in proposals and interviews to grow transportation infrastructure work in the region.
